The following case studies provide insight into some of our more interesting projects:
- Case Study 1 – Suiting up for a Large Volume and Five Language Combinations
A high-volume text of approx. 32,000 source words was received from a prominent Nordic company operating in the food industry. The brief was to translate the company’s internal documentation/guidelines from Finnish into Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian and Russian.
- Case Study 2 – A1 Format for Digest
A legal company submitted seven building plans in A1 format. These plans required translation from Russian into Latvian for a court proceeding.
- Case Study 3 - Personalized Subtitling
The client sent us a request for a subtitling job of five video files from English into all Baltic languages. These were marketing videos for a world-known health product company. Total video length was 140 minutes for each language (Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian).
- Case Study 4 – 80 000 words into 16 languages within a month
Website translation into 16 languages within the month. The website consisted of ~ 80 000 words and the requested languages were: Belarusian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian and Swedish.
